Clafouti is a French custard cake that can be made with cherries or any other seasonal fruit or berry. It's delicious served with a dollop of whipped cream or sprinkle of powdered sugar.
Cherry Clafouti
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups cherries, pitted
Steps for Rad-Kids:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease an 7-cup, oven proof baking dish or pie plate.
2. Combine eggs, sugar, flour, milk and vanilla into a thin, smooth batter using a blender or whisk.
3. Spread cherries out on bottom of baking dish. Pour batter on top.
4. Bake for 45-50 until sponge-like. Cool 5 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. TASTE & SHARE!
